The City of Alexandria hosts our award-winning holiday festival, Alex Winter Fete - celebrating a decade of community spirit, holiday magic, and unforgettable memories!

Join us December 4 - 6 in Downtown Alexandria for three days of festive fun that draws thousands of visitors each year. Experience the wonder of the season with beloved attractions including Santa's Village, Snow Alley, a dazzling Light Maze, the Fete Express Train Ride, Cookies with Santa, Jolly Junction Play Area, the Winter WANDERland Scavenger Hunt, the always-popular Ugly Sweater Run, and our incredible 100' x 45' ice skating rink with REAL ice!

The celebration kicks off Thursday evening with Santa's grand arrival and the lighting of our community Christmas tree. New this year, gather with friends and family on 3rd Street for S'mores, Pours, and CAROLoke - where cozy treats, festive spirits, and sing-along cheer come together under the holiday lights.
